Successful travel planning begins with skillful conversation and creative collaboration. The process starts with a complimentary, no-obligation video chat or phone call where we delve deep into getting to know you and your family as well as your vision for the trip. During this call, expect us to lend our professional guidance to make sure you understand all of the options regarding your chosen getaway. We’ll then discuss our service fees and what it will be like to work together to make sure we are a good fit.


Design and Refine

This step allows our brilliance to shine! Our team will get busy researching the itinerary perfectly tailored to you and your budget. We will conjure up ideas beyond what you could ever imagine. Our goal is always to maximize your vacation time and resources. We present you with 2-3 options, then we work closely together on revisions until the itinerary is flawless. You will want to start packing your bags on the spot!


The Devil is in the Details

This is where our perfectionism and highly-tuned organizational skills become a real asset. We handle the minutiae of booking the specifics of your travels from departure to arrival home so you can enjoy your trip and each other, without a moment of worry. We repeat this all a week before you leave to ensure all systems are go.


Waiting in Anticipation

This is what sets us apart from the rest...we don’t just go radio silence. You’ll be receiving information periodically about your destination -- videos, articles, even some surprises that will build anticipation. A week before departure your custom itinerary will be delivered. It will contain all documents and confirmations necessary for smooth travels. It will also be chock full of recommendations for restaurants, shopping, travel tips and resources.

Bon Voyage! Not only will you have your itinerary in hand, you will also have our WiFi-free App with every detail downloaded so you carry us in your pocket the entire trip. We are just a text, email, or phone call away.

"Sandy planned and organized a fabulous all-inclusive trip to Israel for 16 people, including my family. The trip had everything for children and adults ages 6-66. Something I will never forget is the overnight stay in a Beduoin tent including camel ride and exotic food and drink. As for headaches, It is crucial to use a travel advisor who is in the know about travel restrictions, health safety, and the financial stability of suppliers in our post-Covid world.  This will ensure that you are fully prepared with appropriate tests for arrivals and departures and that your travels flow smoothly.  Covid has hit the travel industry harder than most and not every tour operator, cruise line, or air provider will be standing when the dust settles.  We will do everything in our power to protect your financial investment - from making sure you have the appropriate insurance coverage to researching the economic health of every supplier we use.

We also act as your advocate in the event of flight cancellations or missed connections. Just ask anyone who was stranded in an airport or overseas when COVID hit in March 2020. Or go back farther to the 2010 volcanic ash cloud over Europe or to 9/11. Travelers who had booked with online companies had difficulty getting a response. In contrast, travel advisors worked tirelessly around the clock answering phone calls and rebooking to get their clients home.

We charge a service fee to cover the many hours spent perfecting your complex itinerary, communicating with suppliers, and securing reservations. The fees we charge allow us to support you 24/7 while you are traveling and enable us to attend conferences that further our expertise in the industry so we can stay at the top of our game and pass that knowledge onto you.

This will depend on the complexity of your travels. Rest assured, we are working as hard and as fast as we can and will keep you posted on our progress. If you have a pressing timeline please let us know and we'll do everything we can to help meet your needs.

We are unable to do so. Our total package pricing is a result of leveraging our relationships with suppliers to get special deals unavailable to the general public. Think of it this way, when you order an entree at a restaurant, do you ask how much are the potatoes? How much is the broccoli? How much is the salmon?  What’s important is the dish has all the ingredients you want. It looks amazing, tastes great and the price is right!

If you wish to use travel points and rewards for any part of your itinerary, you will need to make those arrangements. Please tell us before you book anything on your own. We will not be able to assist you with any portion of your trip that has not been directly reserved with our suppliers.

Our goal is to tailor your journey to your family's unique preferences and discerning tastes.  Though we don't match bargain website prices, we can promise you that we always aim to maximize your time and financial resources. 

More than ever, we highly recommend travel insurance. The cost will be in your itinerary quote, and payment will need to be made at the time of deposit to ensure your investment is covered. If you do not purchase travel protection and something were to go wrong before or during travel, we will be unable to help you. If you decline travel protection you will be asked to sign a waiver stating that you refused the offered insurance. 

It’s been difficult for all of us to have our wings clipped during the pandemic, and we know you are eager to take flight. It’s a matter of weighing your desire to travel with your risk tolerance. We here at Legacy are checking daily the countries allowing Americans as well as the testing and quarantine rules which vary by state and country. It will be a fluid situation for some time to come and we must all be conscientious travelers. That means working with experts like us so you are part of the solution and not the problem.

We can assure you that our suppliers are going to great lengths to insure the health and safety of our clients. Here are just a few of the many changes they have made: extended no money down deposit windows, lenient cancellation policies, installation of hospital grade air filtration systems, continuous disinfection, and reduced capacity.

Aside from the below, you do NOT pay more for working with us than you would booking on your own. Clients find that the added amenities we provide more than cover our service fees.

Planning and design fees for custom itineraries depend on level of complexity and time required, are per household, are not refundable or transferable, and include multiple revisions on initial destination(s) until satisfied with the final result. Major revisions to initial destination(s) will result in additional cost.  Fees start at:

$300, up to 7 days
$350, 7-14 day
$400+, greater than 14 days depending on length of trip

Flight Ticketing

$  75 per ticket domestic
$150 per ticket international
